Purpose of Philanthropic Projects
The Child Life Club's philanthropy projects demonstrate commitment to supporting the Child Life profession and existing programs in the Central Illinois area. It is also used to show appreciation for the time, knowledge, and experiences provided to practicum students from Illinois State University’s Child Life Graduate Program.
Fall 2014-Spring 2015 Philanthropic Recipient:
Child Life Department of St. John's Hospital
St. John's Hospital has a 3-person Child Life Department, located in Springfield, IL, and will be the recipient of fundraising efforts during the 2014-2015 school year!
Fall 2012-Spring 2013 Philanthropic Recipient:
Child Life Program of Carle Foundation Hospital
The club raised $150 through fundraisers at Rosati's Pizza. Funds were used to purchase supplies for the Child Life Program of Carle Foundation Hospital.
Fall 2011-Spring 2012 Philanthropic Recipient:
Child Life Program of Methodist Medical Center
The club raised $345.81 through fundraisers at Avanti's Italian Restaurant, Monical's Pizza Restaurant, and Rosati's Pizza. Funds were used to purchase supplies for the Child Life Program of Methodist Medical Center.
